The Center for Sustainable Development offers internships that specialize in two different areas of sustainable living: general systems and food security.

Each internship will involve supporting the daily operations of the organization, and will also involve one systems project that the selected intern will be responsible for developing under the supervision of a sustainability teacher.

Our internship program focuses on the professional development of young people who have a desire to make a change. Through field work and research, interns gain practical skills related to sustainable living. By assisting with Island School research classes, interns gain experience in teaching and mentorship.
